three times world champion
Born in Novo Hamburgo, Melissa "Mel" Brogni's got her first skateboard at 4yo and instantly fell in love.

After the plastic skateboard got replaced by a longboard, which brought up a lot fun of with friends, her story took a serious and professional new act when Mel got to compete for the first time in a championship.
​
Driven by her passion for speed, she dedicated herself to training for competitions, and in just 12 months in the sport, she has achieved international prominence, standing on the podium at a world championship.
​
Nowadays, at 25, Mel has been recognized as a professional skateboarder by CBSK, the Brazilian skateboarding authority, where she also plays an active role in seeking to regulate the sport. Additionally, she is an advocate for women's rights in skateboarding, active in Coletivo Dazmina.
